Things We Love: Kev's wedding & Bravo heroics

What’s caught our attention on the world wide web this week?

In our latest edition of Things We Love, Club journalist Rob Pollard gathers together the best the internet has had to offer over the past seven days. 

Mr and Mrs De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne, the man who registered more assists than any other player in the English top flight last season, married his girlfriend Michele Lacroix last week.

The Belgian posted a picture of himself and Michele on Twitter, as well as a quite brilliant shot of young son Mason. 

Congratulations to both from everyone here at City. 

Bravo the hero

Claudio Bravo produced three stunning penalty saves in Chile’s shoot-out win over Portugal in the Confederations Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening.

The game was locked at 0-0 after 120 minutes of football – and it was Bravo who proved the difference during the penalties that followed, saving from Ricardo Quaresma, Joao Moutinho and Nani to put Chile into Sunday’s final in Saint Petersburg.

He was named man of the match by FIFA afterwards and was the talk of the Twittersphere. 

Well Done, Claudio!

Brahim Diaz showed off his outrageous skills on Sunday.

Those who watch EDS games will be aware of his quality. If you’re not, this is a standard piece of technique from the Spanish youngster. 

Has Pep found the next big thing?

Pep Guardiola is always trying to improve the City squad and he may have just found a new addition to bolster his options.

Young Keyl Shafi wowed Pep with an array of tricks and flicks and the City boss looked suitably impressed!

Not to be outdone, Guardiola produced a moment of quality himself...on the golf course.

And, finally, last week saw Glastonbury festival in full swing, with 200,000 revellers packed into a field in Somerset enjoying three days of music and arts. 

And it sparked fond memories of this in the office here at the CFA...
